getting and using a touch pro

first all I plan on using it one of two ways if I get one ot replace my wifi dead mogul

1st is to add it to a SERO 500 ($30) line, is that possible, as I will buy the phone myself like from ebay, I do not want to have to change plans

or would I have to open a new Sero 500 line somehow

the $30 sero deal is dead. if you are not a sero member already then you will not be a sero member. sero is for new customers only. if you want sero and i believe it is 500 mins plus unlimited everything is $59.99 but you can't port your number to it, it has to be a new phone number.

If your mogul was on SERO 500 just get the new phone walk into your office and tell them you want to switch the mogul plan and the TP plan. I just did it last week.

ok. just re-read the post. if you have sero already then yes, you can change phones without changing plans. if you're not sero, see post #2.

you can just activate your phone through the sprint website. log in. click on activate phone. enter the esn and BAM were in business!

okay thanks because ill be buying a touch pro of ebay
and i guess will switch the phones //deactivate one phone and activate the touch pro (just didnt want to lose my plan, I heard if you had an Instinct people lost their plans)

If I had a currently active verizon wireless line could I port the number over to my current exisitng sero line?

sprint might give you some crap but (A) you bought your phone from a 3rd party and (B) you have a data plan so you should be fine. but you can not port your verizon line to sprint sero period. not even threatening to cancel will allow you to do this!( don't ask me how i know this..)

I thought it was when you were opening a new "sero" line at that time if you were already a regular sprint subscriber you couldnt port your number but if you were on other networks you could?

If i did call customer service about porting it, what would happen?

i tried to get sero last year and was told that you had to be a new customer and it had to be a new number. but call sprint and see what happens. i'm gonna pull up sero and see what it says and post back in a minute...
