I saw this after i disabled touch flo. It's new to me. Just wondering if anyone can quickly ID it.

I've attached a screen shot.

Looks like the icon for a program that is running in the background. Possibly the program you are using to connect and do screen shots with like Soti Pockect Controller, MyMoblier, etc...

I know I get a syncmate symbol in that spot when I have my Pro connected to the computer withot TF3D loaded. Not sure if that helps point you in a direction.

That is probably the service for your top icons that have the battery percentages. Usually when something is in the bottom right corner like that, it is a service or program that is running.

Looks Like something you installed put a battery meter in your system tray. What programs are you running?

Re: Something odd on today screen. Can you tell me what it is?

Well I'm running everything that was on stock sprint rom, and also GNAgent.exe seems to start up at the beginning but I think this is google navigator (not sure why it starts up really.)

The battery percentage thing could be right. I had never noticed it prior to installing those icons. I'll do a quick uninstall / reinstall to test

Well I uninstalled the battery icon set and it's still there. Perhaps the install left something behind? I'd really like to know what this is. MAYBE ITS A TRACKING DEVICE! :O

nah I haven't installed any HTC things :/

I mean, my phone isn't acting odd or anything, it's just a head scratcher as to what this could be. I haven't installed anything in a while and I just started noticing it recently.

its prob just there by mistake (reg edit, sys change, ETC....) tap hold it to see if an option there will let you hide it.

tapped and held and nothing happened :/

What I was really hoping for is someone to go "Oh you dummy, thats BLAH.EXE or something" but its kind of funny that this is such a mysterious object to everybody.

You prob enabled it in Advanced Configuration tool. There's a option in the tool to enable a battery meter.

good luck

Re: Something odd on today screen. Can you tell me what it is?

Well that's partially what it was. Advanced configuration tool's Today setting had "Show power icon: " set to Yes.

I don't remember setting it so perhaps it was by accident. Thanks for everyone's help.

More importantly, why don't you use ClearType? :D

To be honest, when I turned it off, things seemed snappier.

Re: Something odd on today screen. Can you tell me what it is?

some people have gotten stock phones set up a little different from most. so i wouldn't be surprised if it came like that. But if it appeared afterwards then it was probably the user :P
