Getting Pro tommorrow, what to do first?
 

Well I thank anyone for any helpful or creative suggestions they can offer:

First, I wanted to look at custom roms, but there are so many, is there one that offer the best performance and stability over the stock rom? I've turned off touch flow on my vogue, since the internet runs better with it off for some reason, which is part of the reason I'm upgrading, I use it for internet ALOT. So I want something that will give me the best preformance there.

Second, well the first is the big thing, after that I'm looking for games. Full keyboard so I assume I can get some nice emulators, any suggestions for my old school nintendo needs? Another big reason for upgrade....never got anything to work too great on vogue, and no multitouch, so ruins mario.

Third, any good link to games that use the accelometer on the pro?

Forth, I'm having problems with my universitys email, and getting it to work....tried a long time on vogue but gave up. They use a microsoft exchange server.....so no idea how I can't figure this out. Its for bgsu.edu

hey welcome to the touch pro section, first off i would say try every rom what suits one may not suit another there are a few good rom review threads in the upgrades section
check this out for emulators http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...=emulator+snes im using all of them and as long as you run them with sound off they run good

honestly what i would do is hold off on buying it.. look at Engadget.com.. touch pro 2 was announced today and should be on "preferred wireless network" by early summer.. that means ATT or Sprint or both.. and the thing looks like a super beast.. good thing im sprint Ultra Premier and they let me renew my contract whenever

the chances of it going to sprint are slim, considering there's no fcc information on a cdma counterpart... i mean, if sprint can get it, that'd be great for them, but... i wouldn't be holding my breath. if you need a phone, and need windows mobile, there's really no other option right now. if you sat around and played the game of waiting for the next best greatest whatever, you'd still be sitting around with nothing in your pocket but a motorola flip from 1997.
