Camera Not Recognising Free Space on SD Card
OK, here is my Dilema.
I have a 8GB memory card with 4GB free space and the default destination to store pictures on my phone is the Storage Card. But for some reason, the Camera App only lets me take a maximum of 13 pictures, Video only 2 minutes, and then it displays out of memory. I have copied off everything and Formatted the SD Card, and it still displays the same thing. But if I switch storage to Main Memory, it says 156 pictures can be taken, and yet it only has like 145MB left there. And the size of the pictures are 745KB at most so far. Any help here would be highly appreciated. Using Merdin 3.4 ROM Thanks |
Re: Camera Not Recognising Free Space on SD Card
To be honest with you,,, what I would do to find out the problem,, is back up everything you got..
then hard reset... try the camera again,, if it still has the same problem,, then flash back to stock rom,,, try the cam again,, if it works properly on the stock rom,, then id look for an alternative rom to flash,, or contact the maker of the rom you were using and alert them to the problem,, see if a fix can be made then reflash... if even on the stock rom it does this,, then id look into taking the phone back... hope this helps |

Maybe you have a fake card. ..i don't know.. Edited: Here is another answer that might answer your issue. Here are the numbers when i change my setting on Quality With 13338.78 Gigs left Basic = I have 3656 shots left Normal = I have 3006 shots left Fine = I have 2426 shots left Super Fine = I have 2034 That is how much i have left since i already used up 17753.22 gigs already. |

Edited: lowest settings on 13GBs - Resolution = M Quality = Basic I have 95,716 shots left - Of course i'm more of a resolution guy and set every settings to max to maximize my storage card Maybe my card is broken...i don't know... My point in " trying " to help you out is that , maybe the settings you have is on 3M and Super Fine. |

The reason i think my card or phone is broke is if i put in the 1gb card i have 1786 pics left with the same setting so this is why i flip out?? |
