how do you format storage card.
 

well i copied stuff from my 2GB and put it on my new 16GB but its all messed up so im looking to format my 16.

I use my SD Card reader and hook it up to my PC or laptop and format it through My Computer as FAT32.

Had the same problem after a long google search found the following: flash format, it installs on your ppc and can completely reformat your storage card. Costs $12.95 but you get a free 10 day evaluation before you need a key. Great program, type flash format into google. If this helps hit the thanks button.

Hook it up with usb cable, and TP will act as Card Reader.

Like Kru83 said, hook up your TP through USB and connect as a disk drive. Go to My Computer, right click Removeable Disk Drive and select format. I had to do this myself. Just got my 16GB and no device i put it into would recognize it. Hope this helps.

Hard Reset: Power off the Phone, Hold volume down, hold center button, and than press power and hold.

dont forget to unlock the phone before installing custom rom.
