as a bes administrator...thats pretty cool. all though if they can figure out a way to get it to support full services that would be even better.

Yeah, isn't BB Connect just push email?
WM already has that, and often a BES is connected to an Exchange server anyway for groupware features... The advantages of a BB are the high-end additional services, such as call log sync and more remote administration controls.
If BB Connect only supports Push Email from a BES, and that BES is syncing with an Exchange Server, it seems silly not to bypass the BES completely and push from directly to activesync.

Now, the full BB system that has been floating around in screenshots (and hopefully isn't just vaporware) would be interesting to have...

Would there be any additional cost from my carrier besides data? I have the touch pro with a sprint sero plan.

Also, can I use this with my Gmail account?

This is old RIM propaganda, but they claim it's cheaper to use BES.

And some of the BB fanatics feel BES is faster.

I just like that we have lots of options. If I ever want to use BES with my Touch Pro, I can and I don't find having the option to be a bad thing :) .

Appears to be for Southeast Asia only, which would be why your serial's not working.
