1x area, place data session on hold for phone call to come through???
I have a problem that I have not been able to find a solution to. I live in a 1x only area and have a Sprint TP. I have my phone synced to my email account, both work and personal. I currently receive about 75 emails on a slow day. This has caused me to miss numerous important phone calls related to work. Because of this I have purchased a Samsung Rant and activated it on my line to receive phone calls. No I am unable to receive important emails related to work unless I am either in the office, which is occurring less and less lately, or can find a wifi hotspot. Is anyone aware of any option to place a data session on hold to allow the phone calls to pass through?? I am aware this occurs naturally with EV-DO, but I do not have the benefit of this service. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, as I do not want to have to carry multiple phones around with me.

Data priority....
Phone app, menu/options/Services/DDTM Mode Send voice calls to voice mail during active data connection... should be Off. Try that. Supposed to work. |

Unfortunately there is no way around it.
The only thing you can do is carry two phones... one for voice and one for data. |

You could always do that thing... you know that thing that is illegal and not allowed on the forum... (think sheep :p). I don't know if that would work or not.
