Which programs should I install to device only?

I don't want to slow my phone down, but all Ive heard is im suppose to only save dialers to device and everything else to my Storage Card, is this true?

I install everything to my storage card unless it says I have to install it to the phone.

A good rule of thumb is to install those things which run on your today screen to your device memory...everything else can go to storage.

LOL... I flash my phone several times a week so it really does not matter. Some day I will find one that will last longer than a few days... :)
