Question regarding Opera Mobile

Coming from the Mogul, I've only had the Touch Pro for a few weeks, but I've got a question. I'd like some people to explain what is so great about Opera Mobile 9.5. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it, but with all the excitement about Fennec, which doesn't even work, I'm just trying to figure out what is the BFD? I'm probably missing something obvious, but IE in MightROM seems fine to me. They both seem one-upped by Skyfire, since it can play Flash content like hulu. Should I be able to see Flash content in Opera? Thanks.

Theres supposed to be a flash plugin for Opera, but from what I hear it's not as good as Skyfires. While skyfire can plan content on hulu, it doesn't do it very well either and can sometimes lag very bad. I think people are excited for a new browser because for every browser thats out right now theres always something very wrong with it, making people like me have to switch between different browsers for different purposes. Firefox gives us hope that as an open source platform it'll bring the best worlds from all the browsers and prove to be a all-in-one browser.

Opera right now is the best browser to view full-page websites in VGA. PIE is good for mobile sites, but is really really bad for trying to view a full-site as if it were on a PC. The only downside is that it doesn't have a good flash solution.

Re: Question regarding Opera Mobile

Opera 9.5 is still a Beta and has not yet been fully released....but even so it runs circles around IE. Skyfire, sounds cool..but in all reality is not very nice to work with and is slow. I always go back to Opera because of its nice UI and ease of use, but Iris is just as good...I always forget I have it installed... it renders iPhone specific web pages, just as they do on the iPhone because it uses WebKit.
