pocketwit error posting status
 

I have recently installed this program and love it, finally a good twitter program. I am now getting: "Error posting status. You may want to try again later."

Sometimes it work, most of the time it does not. I have a feeling it is related to the touch pro only. Anyone identify what is this or have fixed this issue.

i submitted a note to the guy that created it about this. i was having the issue of it not posting my updates when i hit submit with the KB open. if i closed the KB and waited a sec or 2 and then hit submit, it would work fine. once it gave me the error the msg could not be saved. i would have to cancel it, go out, get back into the update screen and try again. is that your error? if so try tiny twitter, it has worked every time for me. the app creator said he has no idea what would cause this, so that is why i suggested a different app.

mines working fine. let me try it right now and my twitter s/n is therealhotshot if anyone wanna follow me and vice versa :-)

It is a little glitchy on the CDMA TP. I get instances where the taskbar doesn't go away, and the SIP keyboard icon shows through the UI, plus the sending error from time to time.

I think the sliding UI is a little weird too.

Just get the newest dev builds... Its updated like twice a day usualy... Always good fixes there, but also bugs at times... http://code.google.com/p/pocketwit/wiki/DevBuild

As for the error posting thing, iv noticed it happens when twitter updates its api or the twitter servers are overloaded...

I will have to further test this to find out if it is related to the KB. Does tiny tweeter have the option to take picture, gps, etc for status update?

I actually really like the UI and think it uses the screen real estate quite well. I will install the newest version and test it too.

thanks for the screen shots, I saw something about update location, I assume that is the gps funciton I am looking for. I am going to give pocketwit one more chance today (with latest version), if i am still having issues i will get this a try

yes update location brings up a menu that contains a check box to use GPS.

i've been having the same posting problems -- have to hit it again and it will work.

also, the scrolling is not as smooth as it is on TF3D . . .

all in all, the best twitter client (finger-friendly) that i've seen for WinMo

Tiny Twitter doesn't finger scroll, and ceTwit doesn't either
