HTC Touch Pro TV-Out Integration in my car.
 

I finally set up my phone to do all my gps, web, and music in my car, a Land Rover Range Rover Sport. Basically, I just got the tv-out cable for it. I have a video bypass unit that hooks up to the OEM nav.


I had a carputer (see my other youtube videos) but the HTC Touch Pro kicks ***.

dude that's awesome. I can't tell for sure, but is the car display a different aspect ratio? seems widescreen-esque as opposed to the 4:3(or 3:4 i guess since it's portrait) of the phone.

Never thought about it. There is a different aspect ratio. I can set that with the video over-ride box.

Is your XV 6850 running a stock rom with a added youtube app ?

It would be even cooler if you could operate the Pro from the car screen. I would ditch the ugly red VZW skin as well. Otherwise, badass.

Yep. Stock VZW Rom. I have the GPS fix, youtube VGA downloaded from xda or here (can'tr remember).
