Charging from the computer is actually fast now
 

Unless the battery monitor is wrong, I'm pulling between 900 and 905mA from my desktop computer's USB 2.0 port... which is the same current I pull from my Mogul's wall charger.

I remember it used to be next to impossible to charge an HTC from USB!

EDIT: Just so everyone knows, I didn't realize that its coming from the fact I'm running mightmike's AWESOME MightROM :)

Absolutely nothing. I just plugged in the cable. I'm pointing out that it looks like HTC finally decided to make it possible to charge from USB... In the past you seriously couldn't. This makes my battery life issue pretty much a non-issue since I have USB or a charger just about everywhere. Very happy about this. :D

As the battery gets fuller (its at 90% right now), the charge voltage drops. Currently at 775. But that's still more than enough juice. The phone isn't hot at all either even though the screen has been on the whole time (I'm too lazy to shut off USB connections in WMDC)

It's because my rom uses No2Chems Rapid Charge Drivers :)

No prob. My phone gets pretty hot during heavy usage (less since switching radios) but it also got plenty hot charging last night... But its barely even warm to the touch right now.
