Re: GPS on TP

I really like the Sprint Nav (TeleNav) and I went to TeleNav website and prepaid for the 4 year deal and basically it comes out to $5 a month. I have an old SERO plan so its not free. Like slypher said the only thing that sucks is when you get a phone call, you can go back to the map and still see the "blue line" and follow that but all the voice promts go away untill you hang up the phone. But when the simatinous voice and data hack that is going to come out that will put all this to rest!! Just joking I hope the voice and data thing really is going to work, but we can wish. :)

This question is similar to "what's the best shoe?"

GPS can be used for many things. Are you looking for turn-by-turn directions? Geochaching? Tagging photos? Remote tracking? Off-road navigation?

There are lots of programs that utilize the gps for different purposes. Without any indication of what you're looking to accomplish, I for one, would have to say - Asics...

I'm not sure if Sprint did something different, but every time I have had a call come in and answered it. It just minimized my Turn by Turn. Once I hung up I was able to bring up the task manager and restore the Nav session and it picked up where I left off.

While this may be true, I doubt the OP could fill them ;-)
