You can set it to do either. I tried it myself and it works. The device lock IS the passcode lock. You are maybe referring to the keylock as being the device lock.
I set mine for a stylus event. And sure enough when I put my stylus into the phone it locks the phone to where you need to put the passcode in before using. |
