**FIXED** Landscape Lag Beta Final Version
 

Problem - I know there a Thread out already for this 1 is caused by vistahide (which i dont use) and the other are going out of topic

I searched all over and still couldnt find a solution for the landscape lag especially when i text

I am using the Standard Sprint Rom
- Custom Task bar
- Using XBMOD HD http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=470164

This Seems to be a Hot topic and almost if not everyone has this problem surprise no one found a solution for this yet

FIXED - Download This Landscape Theme Here and it should fix it (works With XBMOD HD)

i tried that landscape and i am also using xbmod hd manila and it cleared my interent tab and removed the 4 day forecast from the weather tab. did it not do that for you?

no i tried with beta 9 and have not tried beta 11 of fear it would mess it up again?


when u go to the internet tab are all links and icons showing, and in the weather tab is the 4 day forecast showing? those were my problems

ok but according to beta 11 description it says it fixes that issue, so try beta 11 and report back please, because im in the same position, i have the HD manilla with no landscape

ok well i just installed it and the internet tab does not have the problem that beta 9 had. but....it converts the hd manila weather tab back to the standard manila tab, but u get landscape.

^^^^^ does it have the problem where, if you're using somethign in portrait, and you slide out the keyboard, will the screen just change to landscape or will it change to landscape AND the dag on landscape menu items pop up?

nope i just tried to open a new text message from portrait mode and then slid up the key board and the landscape menu did not pop over it, it is very fast and i think i can live with the weather tab, i dont need to always be looking at the 4 day forecast. all other hd tabs still work 100%. i.e. stock tab, people tab.

the only thing u will have to do is install the xbmod mto fix b/c it stretches the images back out, and that corrects it.

They Took away the 4 day forecast

IMO i really didnt like it i could just check the 5 day in one click

And Yes try beta 11 its fast and it doesnt pop up

Here a cab if XDA is down

If it doesnt show go to setting on the TF3D and click customize Tabs and check internet tab.

XBMOD also comes with Calendar, Sound Profile, Comm, Stocks, People, and Call History Tab

All you need to do is go to TF3D - Scroll to settings - Customize Tab - and check the tabs you want or dont want you can also rearrange it

alright well i am going to try and re-install cfc 1.85 and see if that corrects it, i am jut curious. i will report back my findings.

that is what i am thinking. the nice thing so far is this version does not have the re-install to uninstall problem. it unistalled perfectly and is now reinstalling. will report back shortly

ok well lol, everything returned to normal with manila hd but it unstalled the landscape. i did not see that coming lol..

i installed this with the xbmod HD manila. It switches to landscape then switches right back to portrait.

strange, everything works perfectly fine for me except for the weather tab changing back to standard. but i wouldnt call that a problem. what version of landscape and hd manila did u install?

Im using xbmods most recent file and the beta 11 landscape. I used Calkulins kitchen with the telus manila to build my rom.

well i am using xbmod cfc compressed 1.8.5 and beta 11, like i said everything is pretty perfect. and i am using stock sprint rom, it sounds like something may not like whatever is in your rom. just a guess though.

Shouldnt be only limited to the stock rom but if it is the next version would prob fix it

but try this
Its prob cause by the latest update

xbmod 1.8.5c prob comes with there alpha landscape

Try Downloading version 1.8.1 http://diamond.geg0r.de/xboxmod/XBmo...LA%201.8.1.cab and the fix cabs i add the cab below

Try that and report back to me

This is worth it i couldnt take the Landscape problem

Only Use 1.8.1 if the xbmod 1.8.5c one doesnt work for you

It doesnt only the 4 day forecast view

Also if the weather doesnt work follow this
-delete
My device/Application Data/HTC/databases/forecast_cache.db
-Go to start/settings/today and restart TF3D

you dont need the autoloader fix with the new version. it has it built in i beleive.

Im running XBmod HD also. i was able to correct the weather tab, but this alos changed my home tab to where i can view 2 appointments anymore. Do you have a fix?

Yah after i installed the landscape i lost the 2 on the home page.
