Opera Issues
 

Hey guys, I just recently upgraded from a touch to a touch pro and im loving it so far, BUT I've been using Opera and it just keeps crashing and locking up after maybe about 5-10 min of use. Then I go to click it to open it again and it wont open, then I have to do a soft reset just to get it working again. Anyone having the same problems or can shed some light?

Are you using a stock ROM and have you installed any .CABs or registry edits?

I'm using a stock rom, I have one registry edit and thats to disable the sent sms notification and a few games, I also edited the registry for opera so that it would show websites in full not wap versions.

If you can, back up your data and do a Hard Reset.. Should cure your issue right up.. It should NOT be doing that with those edits.. I have the same edits, on the stock ROM, and don't have that issue..

Was it working before you played with the registry? If so, then I change what ever you did or up load a saved copy of your registry. Then see if your problems go away. Hopefully you backed-up your registry before you started messing with it.

I did a hard reset and it works fine, but then I thought about it, and it turns out whenever it would freeze it was while i was on facebook. It seemed like if i spent too long on facebook or something it froze..lol
