My speed is only getting up to 693 with 5 bars, what should i do.
if i download the telus radio will is reset my device?

Nope. No hard reset when flashing radios only.

I just tested and I get 1400-1500 kbps with 5 bars, about 1mbps slower than my mogul

I have no idea how anyone gets more then 1.2mbps out of EVDO-a on a winmo. I get slightly better speeds out of the touch then my mogul in the same location, usually 1mbps or lower down.

I saw typical speeds of 2-3mbps down with my Verizon XV6800 at work, but was only getting 500-750kbps at home. With the Sprint TP I'm getting 1-1.5mpbs down in both locations, which to me is an acceptable tradeoff; but, knowing it's well below what I was seeing before at work does kinda make me wonder why it's so much slower there.

Well this is better than the .6Mb/s I was getting, just switched to sprint 1.11. Could be sample variation as today is Easter sunday and before I was testing on Sat evening. I would love to hit 2.3 Mb/s for sure! However 1.2 is very solidly broadband and speedy. Finally got the thing to charge wihle tethering, make sure you turn off the phone and open the keyboard with plenty of ventilation around it.

Does ICS over Bluetooth v2.0 lose speed compared to usb or wifi tethering?
