Same here, I'm using a stereo BT headset as well. Not sure if that has something to do with it.

would it be too much to ask if you can just try playing music out of the speaker rather then using the bluetooth, hit the power and see what happens? somehow i'm still leaning on it being a setting on s2u2

thank you for trying. so i guess the conclusion is when you play through a wired headset or through the speaker, turning the power off will shut everything down. with bluetooth, it works great.
guess i'm now in the market for a stereo bluetooth that also has a mic for phone calls.
or is it something to do with s2u2. i've been playing around with the setting trying to get it work with no luck yet

Sure NP. I don't have s2u2 installed so I don't think that has anything to do with it.

Since you are in the market for a blue tooth stereo headset, this is what I use:

http://www.amazon.com/Jabra-BT-3030-...3694036&sr=8-1

You can use any standard 3.5 mm headphones with this thing. Has a built in mic and on board controls so you can switch songs without having to touch the phone. You can also answer incoming calls without touching the phone too. Although, I have had problems with the last part. I haven't tried fixing it because I never really get to many phone calls so it doesn't really bother me. LOL

Other than the last thing, I love this thing with my TP. I use the Touch flo music player because if you use the actual windows media player, every time you switch a song on your bluetooth headset, it switches to windows media player. really annoying cause then you have to minimize and then go about doing what you were going to do.

it is not s2u2, I don't use that.

I have a Motorola S9HD stereo BT headset & I listen to music & answer the phone with it. I use it all day at work & it works super.

I shut off the screen with no problem, but without the BT headset the music shuts down when I hit the power button.
