Is anyone successfully using PPCKitchen for their TPro?

I used BuildOS from PPCKitchen.org on my Mogul extensively. However, when trying to piece together a ROM for my TPro I keep getting the following error:
Kitchens\PPCKitchen_OEM_VGA.rar

File create error (C:\Documents and Settings\...\PPC-BuildOS\9.05.3.0Temp\temp\dump\dnsapi.dll)

Anyone have any ideas on this?

You have a conflicting OEM. Uncheck stuff until it goes away, to identify what is conflicting.

To get a little more technical, you could also create a search field for "dnsapi.dll" within all folders that your OEM files are located in. If necessary, copy the PPCKitchen_OEM_VGA.rar to a seperate, labeled folder, decompile and search all relevant folders and write down which OEMS contain this dll. file. With the .rar file copied, seperated and deconstructed, you now have a safe base from which to locate & troubleshoot conflicting OEMs without affecting the actual PPCKitchen_OEM_VGA.rar within the kitchen.

I strongly suggest against modiying the original .rar files and using in the kitchen. Copy and troubleshoot the backup. Your kitchen will generate "missing" errors if the original .rars are edited and used.

I would agree with the search method! Good advice.

I had great luck with the PPCGeeks kitchen on my Apache & Mogul, but can't get the thing to update correctly anymore, so I quit trying. I always get an error.

I'd still consider myself a noob, only about a week on the who custom rom and HTC ppc scene, and I made my own custom rom with this kitchen just yesterday. It was surprisingly easy, and I'm amazed as to how fast you can catch on to these things.

that error is because you are choosing the VOIP option. dump it. But to save you headaches, the PPCKitchen is a waste of time for the TP. Wait until they actually start working on it again... maybe they will make it useful someday. For now, stick with the erice or calkulin kitchens.

You need the Herman files for the Sprint TP, not Raphael.
