D pad and Buttons turning phone on?
Well first off, Been here lurking for a long time learning but now I have a question I cannot find an answer to? I find that my battery was dying in a few hours everyday. Then one day I noticed when I took the phone out of its case it was on already. So I turned it off but the lower hard buttons and d pad stayed lit and if they were pressed the phone would turn right back on again. I did check in settings and have locked that only the power button will turn it on. But its driving me nuts? why would the lower buttons and d pad stay lit even after I pressed the power button to turn if off and in settings, It is set to lock all but the power button???
Anyone seen this before, I have went back in the touch pro section all the way to page 183 out of 250 something and cannot find anything about it. thanks for any and all help! |

its been going on pretty much since I got the phone about 5 weeks ago. never did a hard reset however. I have done many soft resets.

Re: D pad and Buttons turning phone on?
I don't have a problem with my TP turning back on when the keys are pressed but occasionally I notice that they stay lit after pressing the power button. I usually just cycle the screen again (power button twice more).
I keep mine in my pocket (I hate the belt clip look) and, although it isn't necessary, use the lock feature pretty frequently because text messages and other notifications turn the screen back on and buttons get pressed. Lock feature is hold end button, btw. |
