EXTREMELY SLOW Internet connections???
 

Anyone else have EXTREMELY SLOW connections??? It takes FOREVER to load pages on my phone...

Here's a vid of it.. It's actually faster than usual for some reason when I made this video :disgust:. Sometimes i'll sit there for 5 mins waiting for myspace and up to 10 mins for a youtube vid to just start loading.

Not sure when the video will finish processing.

I've tried editing a few CABs, I think it made it worse... I downloaded the new Opera fromt aht thread and the net is slower... Plus when I scroll around, I still see that checkerboard...

When I used the internet on a TP for the first time, the internet was EXTREMELY FAST. I thought I was on a fiberoptic connection...

are you using opera? do you clear your cache at all? using memmaid to clean things up? memmaid link with a free trial. http://www.dinarsoft.com/memmaid/

it cleans your ppc of dead shortcuts and reclaims ram. its a must for your phone, trust me. dl it and try it, its free for a while.

ookay.. and I am using the newest opera 2649.

I just changed my cache size to 50000. Seems to be slightly faster, might be placebo.. i'ma go get memmaid.

are you deleting opera cache in settings also?

Yeah, I did that too... The improvement in speed is barely noticeable...

By the way, using MemMaid, this is one of the best programs i've put on my TP, thank you very much!

Is it possible that your area has a low volume tower? I know that my internet is nice and fast at my house but at a friend's place its redonkulously slow. Just a thought...

It could be my area... I live somewhat in the sticks, which is why I use roaming only...

I did used memmaid and have a 100mb cache... no real improvements.
