No automatic flash?

Hey,
I just noticed when I was taking a picture that it has no auto flash?
It has the option to turn on the light, but not auto flash...

What gives?

Re: No automatic flash?

It's not a traditional flash like you would see on a stand alone camera. It's simply a bright LED to provide a little extra light in darker situations. Turn it on...when you're done, turn it off. It doesn't help much for pictures, but comes in handy for a late night trip to the bathroom.

so basically...when i take a pic in a dark room, i would have to turn on the flash?

my old blackberry used to sense when there is low light and automatically activate the flash.

so thats a no go on the touch pro?

it does have an ok cam but your def not gonna want to buy it just for the pic/flash quality even if you get the bat to stay on long enough to take the pic

Re: No automatic flash?

it is considered a flashlight not a flash. Which I prefer as I use it as such and not for pics lol

My opinion, it's a bug, I say we report it to our networks and request a fix. :evil4:
