Is there a way to turn the auto answer off? I checked the setting for this and the auto-answer box is not checked, but it answers on the second ring.

This has nothing to do with the Auto Answer feature, it only changes the setting for power saving. I have been using this edit for two months on various roms and never had the auto answer feature activated.

Thanks for the info...I guess the auto answer is just something I'll have to deal. Is there anyone else having the same issue that is using this registry edit? Any input you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Are you still having issues?

I tried using a different bluetooth and it works just fine now. So I guess it wasn't the registry edit...it was my bluetooth. I was using a Motorola H12 and went back to my Motorola H710.

Thanks

Thanks, it works.

The only thing left is that once soft set my phone or press connect button on my bluetooth headset, it keeps connected and draining the power. I will have to make a call to disconnect bluetooth connection and set to power save mode.

Is there a way to disconnect automatically after being connected for some time.

It seems like this Registry edit is available in Advanced Config 3.3. Go to Bluetooth then 'Audio gateway power save' and enable it.

Didn't realize that tweak was avaialble in Advance Config....applying the changes now as I have been having battery drain issues and was contemplating flashing a new ROM. I am using EnergyRom_2.0 Series (Build 41609) so it burns a lot of RAM. Thanks for the heads up!
