Question Telus Radio in Puerto Rico

Hi Guys,

I have a sprint touch pro and changed the radio to the Telus Radio V1.04.05V. Just wondering if anyone knows if ill have any problems with the phone while I'm in Puerto Rico since I'm not using a sprint radio. I know some people in PR were having problems with Rev A speeds and such. Anyone over at PR switch to the Telus Radio?

Re: Telus Radio in Puerto Rico

Go ahead and try it, if it doesn't work any better for you, then put the sprint one back on .

I personally like the Telus radio on my sprint TP in Charlotte, NC. the GPS seems to me much more accurate. The original Sprint radio was off sometimes. (One time it was off by almost a mile on google maps) Now with google maps, I can see what lane I am in on the freeway.

Re: Telus Radio in Puerto Rico

I've been using it for the past week and a half, it's working better than the Sprint one, at least for me, the phone stays cooler when using it and the battery life is no worse. so you can go ahead and try it

Re: Telus Radio in Puerto Rico

Actually worked very well. Even in Moca. Only problems I had was getting a signal in some areas especially inside the house. But once I got the signal internet/phone worked fine. Even downloaded a tv show of 396 Megs while I was there.

Re: Telus Radio in Puerto Rico

I tried the new Sprint one, but went back to the Telus radio. It ran cooler on my phone, had faster internet and more bars
