GMAIL Email is not working
 

I have gotten it to work before but it stopped working about 3 days ago (When I flashed Merdin's 3.3 rom). I don't know if it had to do with it or it was a coincidence, but no one else is having the same problems. I setup the account fine, but it isn't downloading any of the messages. All it does is check for headers and then that is it. Nothing is downloaded to my phone. Any insight? Thanks guys!

Mine has too. honestly I only used it whil;e I was looking for a job. Nobody has that email address. Try Windows Hotmail/Live. It works really well and its realtime. Just set it up on your device to pull email as it arrives. I get mail to my phone faster than my computer.

That isn't an option for me. I have been using this email address for years and it is ingrained into my brain. Any other option? I don't know if it is gmail specific though b/c it worked from December till now for me.

Thanks for the cab. What do I put for POP and SMTP? I am a noob when it comes to this stuff.

its just a program to recover email addresses that have become corrupt. just run it, and see if it can recover your gmail account.

when you go to setup your gmail account, it should automatically setup your servers, all you should really be putting in is the email account's label, your name, your email address, and your password. the rest should be automatically completed.

The weird thing is that it ask me for my username and password twice. This never happened when I first got the phone. I tried the phone repair thing and it didn't work.

i too am having issues with gmail.....it just started yesterday for me. using the same settings I always use to set up my gmail, it keeps telling me my passowrd/username is incorrect. I tried to logon from a Diamond and Pro from a Sprint Store, and it still didn't work...

Looks like you have to do everything manually which is a pain in the ***! O well. I am happy that it works though.
