No problem...been there before. I remember I found a similar .tsk way back when I first got my Mogul and lost it after I did a hard reset. I had done so much crap I couldn't remember what I did to get my today screen black. It took a while for me to figure it out again.

yeah it looked like crap, and the last thing I wanted to do was hard reset and lose everything Ive done already

You have any backup software, like Sprite or SPB Backup? It can potentially save you some grief.

hey is there a place i can find other colors for the top and bottom bars? Like htc blue.tsk red.tsk yellow, green gray etc...?

I highly recommend Sprite backup. It will not only backup your PIM info, but it will create a backup of your entire system. That way, when you hard reset you can restore to the backup and have all of your settings intact. Kind of like a restore point on a computer.

You can change the color of the bars using something like SK Tools or UI Tweaker.

on a side note, my phone just shut off by itself. that has never happened before, any idea why?

No way to tell. That's a "feature" of windows mobile.
