Can't get TP out of sleep mode by selecting the DPad?
 

Sometimes - I can't seem to get the TP out of sleep mode by touching DPad?
I have to hit the power button to wake it up.

Can some1 tell me why?

its set like that you have to change the lock settings

Can't you expound please.

Currently I have it to sleep after 2 minutes of inactivity.
Is it a deep comatose type sleep?

It seems it is inconsistent when it wakes up with the DPad.

Its under settings>system>key lock '

change that and it should allow you to wake up the phone with the dpad

Which one do u suggest? there are 3 options.

I had previously chosen lock the buttons if power was off - middle option.

hmnmm what would be the opposite of "lock the buttons" You already picked one.. you have 2 other options. This is risky stuff.

bringing back an old thread... I running a custom ROM but I have found this to be true with several custom ROMs I've tried. I change the key lock to NOT lock the buttons but as soon as the backlight turns off it goes back to lock all buttons. is there a regedit anyone knows about to permanently change this?
