Having issues texting with touch keyboard

I'm having an issue texting with the touch keyboard. When I want to send a text it comes upwith the numbers\symbols keyboard and when I click on the ABC it doesn't revert to the alpha keyboard.

I can only text with the slide out keyboard.

Do you have the Word Completion cab installed? Sometimes it reverts back to "Numbers Only" but you have to just reinstall the cab. Press OK when it asks you to continue.

This shouldn't be an ongoing thing?

How do i edit the file? In the text msgs, if I type "Im" it doesn't show up as "I'm".

The word completion cab doesn't pick up "I'm" but does pick up a bunch of other words..
