scribbled out icon??
 

When I bring up the phone function, right in between "contacts" and "menu" is an icon of what looks like a phone. It also looks like someone has scribbled over it though.... Is this normal?

Its not scribbled by me.
That icon brings keypad up and down.

i wonder if it has anything to do with the glass flip clock i installed or the manilla blue to replace the yellow file

I doubt it, All you did is replaced manilla file. Did you install any dialer?

no dialer, the only things i installed were...

sprint cleanup audiopara light version
sprint music restore
manila blue
glass flip clock
