i use garmin XT.
When starting there is a lag until i get going. I really dont see the lag too ofter, but I know for sure its there as it becomes annoying when first starting on a trip from point a to point b.

There is a setting that sounds a alert right before i need to turn so this has combatted the problem for me as well. at least a temporary bandaid

Well the lag gets even worse at higher speeds. Live Search also has the sound for the turns, but it seems to notify you late because it relies on the GPS signal. I've already turned and it makes the sound 3 seconds later. Quite annoying if you're in the city.

None of the versions of live search make the sound on any of my touch pro's, how did you get the sound to work like on the Mogul?

Mine does it because I have WA3 installed [I think]

It uses the custom sounds of whatever skin I'm using

I found this site a little earlier today. Did the tweaks, and have noticed no lag whether walking or driving on the freeway.
