This is one of the ones that's REALLY pissing me off! Whenever someone calls me INBOUND there is no 1 prepended to their number. So if I go to call them I get the 'number is a long distance call'.

I have both the following set:
1) A 1 in front of their number in my contacts list
2) Automatic prepend set to enable.

This is driving me crazy cause if someone calls I just want to click on that record and have them call. Instead I have to go look them up in contacts and call them from there. Grrr!

Ya, I have it set to yes to auto so it automatically updates. The problem is it only updates when I go to the page so then I have to wait for a bit while it updates each time. I was hoping there's a way this could be done after so much time in the background so when I went to that page I wouldn't have to wait.

strange especially if they are already in your contacts it should just list them back as contacts.

#3: go to start-> settings -> system -> external GPS
com 4
hardware is none and 4800
check mange gps automatically

note that this gps chip isn't that sensitive so if you're indoors it'll prolly not work.

your volume problem: i have the exact same problem and am trying to figure out it myself. i beleive some newer roms has this problems fixed as when i installed juggalo's rom, the volume works. juggalo's rom also fixed my 1+ problem as well.
so in short, if you try and install juggalo's rom, it *might* fix alot of your issues. at least it did for me from the stock telus rom

I remember reading (maybe in the user guide?) that the weather updates automatically when you go to the tab only if it's been more than 3 hours since the last update. I don't know whether that 3 hours is hard coded in the weather app, or if there's a registry entry somewhere that controls it.
