Internet Sharing Program starts up and Activesync does not kick in?
 

I'm sure that there is a easy setting that I mess up or something. My activesync isn't kicking in and i can't access my phone via usb. Please let me know how to fix this. Thanks! I am using Merdin's rom if it makes a difference.

start/settings/connections/USB to PC

check the box at the bottom that says to ask about connection type when I connect. You might have inadvertently (or it was set in ROM) to default to disk drive mode...

Thanks, but that doesn't solve the problem.

Odd thing is that it wasn't like this when I installed the rom. I must of done something after i installed the rom for it to happen. I don't know what i did though....

Try different cables? I have a few that charge fine but won't data connect. I have no other idea.
