Why in S2U2 do I sometimes need to slide *twice*?

Does anybody else have instances in S2U2 wherein we have to do 2 or more finger swipes to unlock the screen? Somewhat annoying, eh?

Also, is there a way, in S2U2, to tell the software to unlock only for stylus removal or only for keyboard slide-out?

Huh. I'm on 1.40. Do you think those two-hundredths of an update helped my situation? :-) I'll go check. Thanks.

Anyone else having to double-swipe?

well, they can't hurt.. and nope.. not really. i've had a few issues with the dialer skins not evacuating the screen quick enough, but besides that nope... its been really good for me.

I have to slide twice every once in a while on 1.40...I haven't tried 1.42 yet.

OK... installed 1.42. Rebooted. Whoa... just tested it 4 times in a row... and I *think* maybe the double-swipe is gone!!! Thanks!

I have that option checked "yes", but my phone still uses the old-school [default] controls. I wonder what i could do to try to get the "new" volume control to kick in. (I realize I've wondered off topic just a hair.)

So Darren, by the looks of your graphic, your phone displays *two* columns? ... one for the ringer and one for other system alerts, side by side, simultaneously? Whoa -- why in the world would the same model phone fail to show the same graphic?

for the volume, turn volume control on, volume control with transp. background on and keyboard hook off.

Re: Why in S2U2 do I sometimes need to slide *twice*?

I was wrong: upon further testing, I still have to slide *twice*... sometimes seemingly *three* times to get S2U2 to give me access. I must have something amuck in my set-up, because few others have reported that they are experiencing the same difficulty? I've searched the settings high-and-low and can't find anything that would cause this problem. Any other ideas?

From the S2U FAQs:

Q. S2U2 sometimes reappear by itself immediately after an unlock?
A. set a longer "WakeupDelayMS".
A. If any "auto-rotation" application is installed, please add "S2U2" to it's exception list.

Are you sure? If it reappears after an unlock, it would cause him to slide twice

I'm pretty sure this is the problem that he's having, happens to me sometimes, I haven't changed the "wakeupldelay" though

Re: Why in S2U2 do I sometimes need to slide *twice*?

I too have the same question regarding double swiping...I am wondering since I am using the S2U2 as a primary lock screen, how is it that I disable the default slider so the only one I have to unlock is the S2U2? If anyone else has experienced a similar situation, your input would definitely be appreciated...
