Not receiving text messages and data connection turning off?
 

I randomly don't receive text messages. Just now I checked my comm manager and my data connection was turned off. This is the second time it has happened. Any idea what app is turning my data connection off automatically??

Now I just realized that my data connection turns off everytime I reset my phone. I'm still not receiving texts. Can anyone help?

I was able to send a text to myself, but there was a 5 minute delay

Apparently there are known EVDO issues on Sprint

So you still getting the text message, just takes a while to get it or sometimes you dont get it at all? Sometimes depending on the carrier it takes a while to get the text message, have to try calling your carrier to see if they have an solutioon to that problem, if not iam sure we can help you figure out whats wrong.

I've had some straggling issues with Sprint these past few days. Every once in a while I'll get texts 30 minutes late.

In relation to seeing your data connection disconnected and not received texts, it doesn't matter...you can be connected or disconnected from data and still receive texts normally.
