Re: Record Both Sides of Call Coming Soon!
Well, this link that was posted earlier hasn't had much progress, but someone did ask if it works on a CDMA TP. We'll just wait and see, unless someone is brave enough to try it out themselves.

no one is posting anymore about legal crap. i haven't even been on this thread in quite some time. people just keep re-posting my original comments and telling me how wrong i am. which is fine. opinions vary. and by the way. i will not be bullied into stopping. by anyone. i stopped because i could see that the little boys on here refused to even try to grasp what i was saying. not because i was repeatedly asked. Capiche? |
Re: Record Both Sides of Call Coming Soon!
Theres no little children here, and merely being able to quote a law doesnt make you any kind of legal expert to tell people what they should or shouldnt do.
Let me tell you from a REAL legal point of view (this is NOT by any means legal advice) that whats been said in the last page or 2 is correct. Its illegal in some states BUT thats IF you do it without telling the person. If youre doing that whos fault is that? the software or the person? exactly, the person. Shooting and killing people is illegal too, so is it the guns fault or the person? the person. the instrument is not the problem, but the manner in which its used for. The software to do so is not "immoral" or "illegal" what so ever in itself, and has plenty of good uses like: recording calls with Sprint CS on promises IF you ask them if its ok; need to remember what someone said; for clients; etc etc. Plenty of good legal uses for call recording. This project SHOULD go on without hindrance. Anyone who thinks its so immoral or illegal leave the thread and dont download the finished product, easy as that. |

you are exactly correct. the software itself is not illegal and there are plenty of good legal uses for it. i would think that anyone calling you and saying "this call could be recoreded for training or accuracy puposes" or whatever they would say would automatically legally authorize the use of the software. if anyone would actually read what i was saying in my legality posts and try to understand any of it, they would know that. instead they decided to bash the hell out of me. i was told by an attorney buddy of mine a long time ago that ignorance of the law is not a defence. and since i love this site so much, i wanted to get the info out there for review because there were so many people wanting this and i doubed that any of them knew of the legalities involved in using it. to my shock and dismay, noone gave a crap. i'm done. please stop bashing me. |
Re: Record Both Sides of Call Coming Soon!
ok well instead of an attorney buddy, i AM an attorney so im saying whats correct, as weve agrees upon.
And you can warn people all you want but again, as in the gun analogy, people will do what they want despite knowing its wrong or illegally anyways. This just starts legal debates as youve seen and people saying this or that is warez and shouldnt be allowed here |

Re: Record Both Sides of Call Coming Soon!
My Verizon 9600 (The V) Could record both sides of phone calls. I used that all the time. Especially when I was arguing with CS Reps.
