Kinoma + Accelerometer = Annoying
 

I like Kinoma Freeplay for Orb and stuff, but when I slightly tilt it, it will recognize the smallest nudge and flip like crazy. It's rather annoying.... How do I turn off the accelerometer or at least be less sensitive? Cause it's hard to watch stuff on it...

that would be another good tidbit of info to know. still waiting for some other changes before I will try that software, but it sounds promising. I just want the pict/vid to show the way it was meant to be displayed, (portrat or landscape/widescreen..)

you can try changing the polling interval.... to a higher # in regedit.

HKLM>Drivers>Builtin>Gsensor>PollingInterval (change value to 3000 maybe)

1. that effects the camera
2. if you happen to have it slightly tilted @ the poll, it takes that long to wait for it to go back the way you want.

Ya tried doing that, but it still polls the accelerometer. Plus another question I have is how to unassociate all my pictures from the program? I don't want it to be my default player when it comes to pictures mostly...

If you have Advance Config program, select Menu ->More Settings -> File Associations.

Then for images you want to unassociate (jpg, bmp jpeg) -> find the extension -> select it and change the association to :MSPIMG "%1", this will be located at the bottom of that page, right above where the "select program..." button is.

This would make Pictures and Videos open up these type of pictures instead of Kinoma. You can also select the "select program..." button and navigate to the program you want to use to open images.

If you have Resco Explorer (excellent program), it is very easy to undo the damage Kinoma causes by stealing all the file associations.

All you have to do in Resco is select the file & there is an "open with" option plus the checkbox for "always use this program to open files of this type)

thanks you guys! I know that Kinoma developer lingers in here every now and then. DOOD, add some options for accelerometer and file association...If I'm paying 40$ for this, I believe I'm entitled to control how the program takes over my phone *~#()@*#)(* lol
