Reply-to address in Hotmail via GMAIL?

I couldn't find this in search but there is an setting in hotmail options to have ppl respond to a different reply-to address than ur hotmail's.

If I have mail from my gmail acct forwarded to my hotmail & use the above method, will the "FROM:" part say @gmail.com when the recipient replies?

Re: Reply-to address in Hotmail via GMAIL?

Will Gmail handle your Hotmail account? I use Gmail to handle my RR acount there is a setting in Gmail to keep the reply address the same as the account when doing a return replying from Gmail.

So when I reply back through Gmail on a RR email the recipient will see the RR address vice the GMail one.

I think this is the same question as you are asking.

Under Settings/Accounts....you will see these options:

When receiving a message:
Reply from the same address the message was sent to
Always reply from default address (currently *******@gmail.com)

Sorta. I understand the original email will come as gmail (forwarded to hotmail) but when the returner replies, they will be replying to hotmail (& seeing hotmail addy) no?
