Using an Innocase would make that cradle useless, wouldn't it? As in the TP fits snug in that slot right now, so adding a case would make it impossible to fit.

I wouldn't think so by looking at the picks....the USB adapter is raised enough where I think the case wouldn't be an issue at least an Innocase cover

Re: Has anyone tried this Desktop Cradle?

I went ahead and got this one http://cgi.ebay.com/P541-USB-Cradle-...4.c0.m14.l1262 I emailed a few people that bought it and they all liked it and said they recommend it.

My question is, the usb coming form the cradle is ment to be pluged into a computer to sync data and I take it, it would also charge the phone this way? I bought it to sit next to my bed and use it just for charging the phone at night. What I want to do is plug the usb coming from the cradle into the wall plug that came with the phone and charge it that way instead of using the supplied power cable that comes with the cradle. Can I do this or will I blow up my phone?

I guess what I'm wondering is if this cradle has two different regulators one that regulates the current going
through it from a computer, passing through the usb, and a seperate one that regulates the current coming from a
wall outlet going through the supplied power plug and into your phone. From what I read there are 5 volts that
come through the usb ports on a computer and what? 120 from a wall outlet. So if I pluged in the one ment for a
computer that could only with stand so much current... K-BOOM - I don't know what I'm talking about.

Re: Has anyone tried this Desktop Cradle?

I finally got the cradle the other day. I must say I really like it. It was exactly what I was looking for, cheap, simple, no place to charge a spare battery. It works great. Despite my worries I went ahead and pluged the usb coming from the cradle into the wall charger and no explosions or fires. After it was fully charged I left it on there for a couple hours to see if it would get hot and nope not even warm. I took a couple pics and while doing so had to listen to my wife make fun of me, dam women just dont understand our passion for phones. Anyways its model P541 and can be found on ebay for $14.50 shipped. Here's a link to the guy I got it from http://cgi.ebay.com/P541-USB-Cradle-...4.c0.m14.l1262 And here are some pics.

I have one of the cradles that holds both the phone & a spare battery & after I added an innocase the phone no longer fit in the cradle.

I didn't really care at the time as I mainly bought the cradle so I could charge a spare battery independent of the phone. The other day I was bored & decided to modify the cradle to work. I took a Dremel tool to the cradle & now it works just fine even with the Seidio case installed.
