edit contacts on PC?
 
Searching the forums for this is a little tricky...

I recently switched from VZW (VX9900 aka EnV) to Sprint (HTC TP). I had my sprint store transfer over all my contacts, but there were problems:

1. All contacts were duplicated
2. all contacts are listed as "Remaining_words_in_contact, First_word"
i.e. "Smith's Cell, Bob"

I know this problem can be fixed in-phone by changing the "File As:" line, but i dont want to do that for 200 contacts =(
I also do not want to delete every other contact (remove duplicates) by hand within the phone.

Is there anything I can use within Windows to edit my contacts by hand? I'm sorry if there's an obvious answer to this, I'm just not finding it...

You can sync the phone with your pc if you have outlook and edit them there

I must kindly ask, what if your outlook has expired? =/

Then, I'm guessing, use outlook express?
I haven't figured out how to do this yet, but I'm sure i'll get it in a few minutes.

[edit] Ok so i got them into outlook 2007... but i'm still going to have to go through and change all the "File As:" fields by hand? bummer......? anyone know a quicker way?
