Default Browser

Hi,

I initially made Opera my default browser; however, PIE loads so much quicker that I prefer it for quick browsing. Unfortunately, I can't remember the exact regedit commands to change back. Can someone help out? Thanks in advance!

Re: Default Browser

you have to edit these registry keys.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\: DEFBROWSER
"0"=Opera Browser
"1"="\Windows\OperaL.exe\"

that should do it for you.

Thanks for the response, but that's what I did to make Opera the default. What are the exact entries to make PIE the default?

for me... the REGEDIT isn't permanent... it reverts back to Internet Explorer... (i think after resets)

So will it stick if you use the cab? Do you have to keep the cap installed, or can you delete it?
