GPS help please
 

I just got my TP.

tried to use GPS but could not make it work.

Google maps says "initializing" forever, and eventually freezes everything.
Live search says cannot find sats. Tried multiple times, with aGPS both enabled and disabled to no avail.

Any thoughts???

make sure your gps is set to COM 4, BAUD 4800, and have manage gps automatically checked. BTW if you just got your TP, do a hard reset, it wont hurt

Did you try going to settings/personal/phone/services/Location setting/turn gps location setting to on. Worked for me.

I am on Sprint.

I did turn the location services on under the phone settings.

I did, for about 40 min two days in a row!

That is not right Mike, did u hard reset your device yet?

hmmm maybe there is somthing wrong with your TP?
