WMWifiRouter extra charges?
Does using this just go against my unlimited data, or can sprint tell that the phone is being used as a modem and charging me extra?

Re: WMWifiRouter extra charges?
They will not notice this, just to make sure install the undetectable internet sharing cab. I think it is found in the upgrades section of the diamond. It will work on your TP. I have been using wmwifirouter for months though and never been charged.
EDIT: This will work. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...64&postcount=1 |
Re: WMWifiRouter extra charges?
just keep in mind that any usage over 5GB a month will usually look suspicious.

Re: WMWifiRouter extra charges?
i dont think theyll charge you but im sure if you use it to download on BT for a month straight you might get a letter or something. it looks kinda suspicious when a phone is using 15GB per month of bandwidth lol

Re: WMWifiRouter extra charges?
i know there is a 5GB cap on data cards but i dont know about tethering...which would fall under your data plan...

Re: WMWifiRouter extra charges?
there technically isn't one. but sprint probably doens't want people hogging up all the bandwidth either.

Re: WMWifiRouter extra charges?
There's been a lot of discussion of this already. Please use the search box next time.

Re: WMWifiRouter extra charges?
yeah i dont think they imposed a cap on data usage from the device either....but you are correct. Sprint can charge you for tethering...they usually wont unless it gets abused..of course they want u to pay the $15 pam fee but who does that?? lol
