How to Create the Files I need!
Sorry if this iss a dumb question but, I have been looking and searching for days, but still coming up short. Every where I look there are CABS for all sorts of great stuff. In some cases I am not sure I should try some of them because it removes a group of features and I think that I might still want one of them. I am not totally dumb when it comes to Programming of many languages, I just don't always know where to start.
So as an example; NoCurtians, I see that there are several of these cabs out there, some will remove both top and bottom, others just one, and some people having trouble with some of them. Where do I start on creating or editing the files I need to create a CAB to remove the one that I want removed.......without downloading one of them? Is what I am after in VB, HTML, XML, or C+? :headbang:Many thanks to GOODTHINGS2LIFE for his postings explaining several of the XML documents that allowed me to make so many changes so far! If only I knew where to go from there. |

Re: How to Create the Files I need!
I have done the manila editor and modified some of the graphics without any problem, thanks though.
But as another example; I really like most of the Analog Clocks I have seen. I would like to use one, but for now I would like to keep the call history and calendar on the page as well. With most of the analog clocks there is the date along side them, I don't want that but I would like to keep the date where the curtian is and replace the Sprint name with a Digital clock for when I am too drunk to figure out what the Analog clock says. I really would like to do this from scratch if possible as well. |
Re: How to Create the Files I need!
You should head on over to the xda-developers forums and hang out at the Diamond Software forums.. this is where most of the editing discoveries have come from and would help you familiarize with the workings.. from there you could choose your path.
