when you flash your rom, you are deleting your current rom, and putting another in its place. 2 roms cannot exist at the same time. the world could explode... so no, its not like installing an os on top of another os.

well, have been trying for weeks to learn hard reset following all the tutorials, and I finally got it to work, holding down power+volume down+center d-pad, then continuing to hold those 3 after soft reset gives me hard reset right from os, no need to power off first

Hey guys, thanks for the help. I finally got it and figured out what i was doing wrong. I started to panic for a while but everything is good now. Got everything reset and running. Thanks for to the community.
