Start/settings/system tab/remove programs. Shows up on my phone as "duttythroy disable x9". If you dont see it you might want to try to install again then "soft reset" after install then follow the rest of the instructions. Hope this helps.

i think stuck on numbers is limited to compact qwerty, right? I don't have that with any other keyboard

Same problem w/ compact qwerty being stuck on numbers, and sym key not working :(

Full qwerty in my experience, I don't use compact.

I have tried for a few days and it worked, then it started to make just the cool full qwerty stuck on symbols(on screen). I hard reset, added to phone with nothing, but stock sprint rom... same result.

I have an issue. My auto correction/autocompletion works fine with HTK and I like it but I have a Touch Pro and if I decide to open the slide out keyboard and then I I slide it back in the keyboard changes to a "default" keyboard. Even when you go to reselect the keyboard there is not even a keyboard selected. I can change it back but it is a pain. Is there a reg-edit to keep Happy Typing Keyboard to stay as the default. I have tried everything including the first post in this thread. (several times) Thanks for the help in advance.

My symbol button didnt work either... Also, Word suggestion was not working properly in regular mode, in Landscape it worked fine.

Hope they can figure this thing out fully prior to saying that it fully works.
