USB GamePADS?
With a simple usb grevis gamepad, is there a way to use it with games on the Touch Pro?

Not at this time. The Pro as far as we know does not have USB host capabilities by itself. At best it needs external dongle help. No one has figured out exactly how to make it work.

No, i dont think touch pro supports being a "host" device, unless someone corrects me. Just like you can't plug in a USB memory stick.
There is a bluetooth gamepad out there: http://www.pocketnow.com/index.php?a...reviews&id=651 It's been out for a while |
Re: USB GamePADS?
It's really too bad. Back during the iPaq days, there were a bunch of add on keyboards (some with mouse cursors) and game pad attachments. I used to have a ton of stuff for my h3950.
Something like this could be cool: http://www.mobilitysite.com/boards/a...q-gamepad.html |
Re: USB GamePADS?
I'm hoping the Zeemote could possibly be a good solution.

It amazes me, or should I say "shocks" me that with technology the way it is there isn't an easy solution for this.

Re: USB GamePADS?
I own the bluetooth gamepad - I bought it about 2 years ago, and can't recommend it.
I'm also hoping the zeemote gets released for Windows mobile, but for now I only see it released for symbian phones. |

How hard would it be for a casual programmer to make a driver that would allow basic use of a PS3 bluetooth gamepad on the PPC?

Re: USB GamePADS?
What about the Wii remote? That's bluetooth... it works as a gamepad on Windows/Mac (search google). That said it is quite a stretch to imagine that it could work with a WinMo phone.. and someone would have to write the software for it.
