is there a way or app to send prive (recepiant can not reply) text messages? i heard there was an app for the instinc that did this.

Dunno about application, but you can send one from the Sprint Website and it wont show the senders data. Haven tried the *67 on a text.lol

lol, i agree with Tripdub1, i been looking for the samething for a while, seens that is imposible to hide your number when sending sms messeges, i have tried *67 with sms but that will not work either, like hbenz2008 said, if you send the txt messege from the sprint site will not show the senders data, another another thing i use is yahoo sms, shows a 4 or 5 digits number plus your yahoo's user name, so, if you have a weird yahoo's user name no body will know is you, hopes that helps.
