Is there a Power LED??

I've searched and could not find anything so I'm posting. When I look into the earpiece I can see a small led like the vogue touch had, but it doesn't ever light up. No charging indicator, no power indication, or bluetooth flash. I know some would find this annoying but I liked to be able to see that my touch way charged or charging while in its cradle. Also that it was powered up or the bluetooth was active without turning the screen on. Is my light just broken, or is this the way it is on all Touch Pros?

I don't think there are any LEDs, but you might find that Ariel Battery 2.1 gives you most of the information your looking for.

So what functions (or apps) on the TP utilize the light sensor?

I know that the screen automatically responds to ambient light levels by raising or lowering the brightness as needed with the light sensor. It's buried in your power options CPL, I think.

Correct, it simply automatically adjust the brightness of the screen. I believe the idea is that with this, you are always using the optimal brightness, instead of having to go in and change the settings yourself depending on the environment you are in.
