Help! Touch pro wifi not working
 

New to posting. Have touch pro wifi was working fine then just quit. Can turn on and off but doesn't appear to be searching for networks and cannot find any. Problem started after trying to connect adhoc to my laptop. Seems like driver corrupted or something. Any way to fix without hard reset?

I would assume you tried a soft reset already? Did you recently install any software that utilizes wifi? If so, I'd uninstall and do a soft reset. All fails - hard reset only option.

Yup soft reset also tried taking out battery . Using old version of wifirouter. Have been doing this without problem for awhile and just stopped working after trying to connect to laptop. Now cannot connect to any network without wifirouter on. Wifi boots up correctly just doesn't connect, will not connect adhoc either. I checked all setting and everything should be fine. Really want to avoid hard reset. Device is perfect except for this. ](*,)

I currently had the same problem! After Contacting Alltel and also HTC they had recommended that I send my phone back bc it was a handset problem. I recently received my new phone out of the box the wifi picked right back up and works great! Hard reset doesn't work!

Hard reset fixed it last time. It will broadcast an adhoc signal so it isnt totally dead. Just will not connect.
