Email account identifiers on TP?
 

On my HTC Touch Pro, I have 4 POP accounts and 2 IMAP accounts - total of 6 accounts. When I go to 'Mail', all 6 appear as unidentified envelopes along a column down the right of the screen. They variably, depending upon how many messages are waiting in each account, have a small circled number next to the envelope. Problem is, I have no idea which envelope and number correspond with which email account as they are not labeled in any way. Of course once I open the 'in-box' of one account, I can tab through until I reach the account I am waiting for mail to come to. Seems very inefficient. Is there any way to show which envelope corresponds with which account? Please be patient with me - I'm a rookie and doing my best (a bit concerned about asking a 'dumb question' - which frankly, since it might contain a simple fix, would be welcomed.

Very inefficient and not a very user friendly interface. I find my self fishing for messages too. It would be nice to be able to at least change the individual icons image or color and nicer to have a "name flag" like the people page does.

It says the name of the account on the bottom left of each preview envelope... so look there instead of on the right column tiny envelopes.. took me a while to realize this cause i too was confused with the many icons. of course if you don't have mail then an envelope doesn't show up and you might not remember which account that icon corresponds to... (you name these accounts when you set up each account)

Or use FlexMail which will list the account names in the tree.
